Figured that since my journal now goes over more than a single page I should organise it.

Title: The First Days of Spring
Pairing: Spike/Fred, mentions of others
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: This is all fiction, and while I’d like to go steal me a universe and the people in it, I can’t.
Word Count: ~4, 030
Warnings: Curtain!fic, permanent injury, fluff
Summary: After Illyria and the Apocalypse, Spike seeks a well deserved retirement, and Fred doesn't complain.
Author's Note: Second installment of the Retirement 'Verse and follow up to Bad Day Again, though no real knowledge of either is required, just that it's a blood fandom palooza. This is the place where all my favourite characters go to get their happily ever after, regardless of how many rules I have to bend to see it happen. In this installment there's characters from Angel, Supernatural, True Blood, and Leverage. The opening/closing lines come from the song No One's Gunna Love You by Band of Horses--though I listened to The Funeral the entire time I wrote it.

( We were other places . . . . )

Title: Bad Day Again
Rating: PG
Pairing: Spike/Fred in a vague sort of way. Could be gen.
Summary: AU after Not Fade Away. Just because Fred is back doesn’t mean she’s okay, but Spike is there to see her through her bad days.
Author's Note: I haven’t written anything in . . . ages. I got listening to Fuel’s “Bad Day” about a week ago and the idea just stuck in my head. I also think the worst thing that Joss Whedon ever did was get rid of Fred. I’m a Spred shipper from way back, and while this isn’t my first fic of the two of them, apparently fanfiction.net deleted every story I ever posted, so, this is like my first fic. And like I said, it’s my first fic in ages. I just wanted to remind myself I actually was capable of writing things. Written in about two hours, and there was no beta.
Disclaimer: Not my characters. Not making any money here.

( I'm sorry I had a bad day again . . . )

Title: Three Months
Characters: Gabriel. Sam, Dean, Lisa and Ben mentioned
Word Count:336
Disclaimer: I own nothing
Warnings: sad Gabriel.
Summary: Gabriel suffers as Sam and Dean catch up.

Author's Note: A short section from a fic I wrote right after last year's sabriel_mini meant to fill the gap between the last chapter and the epilogue. And because I can't leave happy endings alone. Between the shuffle of my computer dying and everything else, most of the story was lost, but the introduction survived, and I figured I'd post it. Maybe I'll get motivated enough to type out the rest of it again . . but I already did it once *whines*. Stupid technology. . . .

( Three months )

title:Dogs and Dinosaurs
Characters: Sam, Dean, mentions of John.
Rating: G
Word Count:~1,540
Disclaimer: unfortunately I own nothing, and no one would pay me to do this.
Warnings: mentions of bullying. Unattended minors?
Summary: Timestamp to Sweet Child of Mine. A year later, Sam’s been acting strange, and Dean’s starting to get worried.

author's note: When I finished Sweet Child of Mine a few people asked for timestamps. [personal profile] bythedamned suggested How Dean made sure Sammy always told him when he got hurt, and if the boy's ever shared a bed again. This sort of covers that.

( I'd hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain )

Title: The Stillness that Fills
Pairing: Sam/Dean, Eliot Spencer
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: This is all fiction, and while I’d like to go steal me a universe and the people in it, I can’t.
Word Count: ~4,425
Warnings: Curtain!fic, permanent (though fairly non-debilitating) injury, Pretty much porn with the barest hints of a plot, a special guest appearance by Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane) of Leverage (though no familiarity with that show is really required)
Summary: After suffering one break too many, Sam and Dean have retired. They’ve found themselves a place to call home, and Dean’s pretty sure he’s okay with that.

Notes: I just want happy endings for the characters I love. I want them to find happiness and get to live, even if I have to break a few legs to make it happen. So, here’s a ‘verse where they get to do just that. This could turn into one giant AU!crossover world, with beloved characters getting to retire and maybe I’ll even do requests, but so far the only occupants are Sam, Dean, and Eliot Spencer from Leverage who is mentioned but doesn’t really get his story told. Not yet anyway. This was also just supposed to be a PWP so I could practice up my porn writing skills for upcoming scenes in longer fics . . . somehow this happened instead.

The title, and last lines, come from Robert W. Service’s poem “The Spell of the Yukon”, though the photo is of Northern Ontario

Title: Stockholme Syndrome
Recipient: [personal profile] rainyrocket
Pairing: Sam/Gabriel
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Non-graphic off-screen sex, AU, language, unconventional relationship dynamics? Sentient tattoos? Things got a little weird.
Spoilers: Up through the end of season two, indirectly.
Word Count: ~8,220
Summary: Samuel Winchester was taken in by a Trickster when he was a baby, raised knowing that demons were after him. What his protector failed to mention was that not all his family knew about this plan. Or that they were still alive.

( Author's Note )

( He can feel his skin crawling, shifting and bubbling along his back, along the thick, dark lines that are as alive as he is. )
Title: A little understanding
Genre: gen. weechesters
Characters: Sam, Dean, OC
Rating: G
Warnings: Outsider POV, otherwise none
Disclaimer: I own nothing, unfortunately. Though it's probably a good thing.
Word count: 2,321
Summary: With Dean in middle school, it's a lot more difficult to protect Sammy, but with a little understanding, arrangements can be made.
Author's Note: This is mildly based on Prompt #15 over at [livejournal.com profile] abused_sammy though I didn't claim it, and definitely wouldn't consider it a fill. It was also meant to be a timestamp for Sweet Child of Mine, but it may even stand better alone. It didn't turn out anything like I'd intended, but at least it's something after months of not being able to really write anything, especially not something to get posted.

Title: Though the Brightest Fell
Author: [livejournal.com profile] tornknees
Artist: [livejournal.com profile] rubystandish
Genre: slash
Pairing (if applicable):Sam/Gabriel, mild Dean/Lisa
Rating: R-NC17
Warnings: mentions of torture, character death (not Sam or Dean or Gabriel), gore, wing damage, something that could be considered a permanent injury
Disclaimer: I own nothing, unfortunately. Though it's probably a good thing.
Tier/Word Count: second tier, 34,750 word count
Summary: Season 6 AU, with spoilers for all of season six. Sam spent six months in the Cage, but he wasn’t alone. A year after losing his brother Dean abandons civilian-life to take on a hunt that’s left a trail of bodies over the last six months in a pattern that he has no doubt is about him and he discovers Sam is in the center of it; all of it stemming from the Apocalypse and tied in with the civil war in Heaven.

Author's Note: I'd like to thank the mods over at [livejournal.com profile] sabriel_mini, for all the work they put into creating this mini-bang and all the support and help they offered throughout. You guys are amazing and it was a privilege to be a part of this first round. I'd also like to thank my lovely artist [livejournal.com profile] rubystandish who did such an amazing job on the art for this (I'm particularly in love with some of the chapter headings). And finally my betas. You guys were fantastic at getting the chapters back to me quickly and dealing with my mini-freak-outs every time I sent you the next installment. So thank you so much to [livejournal.com profile] wincest_whore, [livejournal.com profile] alice_alaizabel who were there for all of it, and [livejournal.com profile] glimmerellawho was an enormous help for the first three sections. And a big thank you goes to [livejournal.com profile] insertcode11 who read the final draft of this, and corrected all the mistakes that I added after the other had taken the first look. Of course, I have done even more editing after all these lovely people took a look, so any and all remaining mistakes are mine.
